Public Meeting

Newark and Sherwood district council are meeting in March to finalise future planning policy for Blidworth and the surrounding areas.

We're holding a public meeting at Blidworth Welfare on February 18th 2012 between 12.00 and 2.00 pm. Please let your neighbours know. Come along as this may be our last chance to influence the Council's decision making process.

Remember, this is our village, so our views should be key to this decision making.

We'll have a fundraising Cake stall, also Men in Sheds will be there from the village.  The last meeting attracted well over 150 people from the village , so one last push please.

Introducing your new Blidworth Blog Spot

Welcome to the launch of your very own Community Noticeboard.

Over the past few months, since the advent of the Newark & Sherwood District Council Planning Proposal, it has become apparent  that Blidworth has a fantastic community and a real sense of togetherness.

We've put this blog together to promote Blidworth and to help local groups communicate to each other and to the rest of the village what's going on, when, & where.

If you're meeting, making, playing walking, riding, growing or just want to ask a question, let us know. If you have a specific interest, we'll add in pages to match your interests.
